Maybe you are passionately angry about the bothersome aspects of your smile that make you want to never open your mouth again! If that is the case, we would love to introduce you to the world of cosmetic dentistry, something that could change your life forever, for the better.

In today’s blog post, we want to examine a way to cosmetically transform the appearance of cracked, chipped, or stained teeth. Hopefully this will inspire you to learn more and take the next step towards a better smile!

Veneers Are Amazing

As far as cosmetic dentistry solutions are concerned, veneers are a great long-term fix that will make your teeth appear to be flawless and radiant. This is an easy way to make a difference. Veneers are actually durable shells that get applied to the front of your existing teeth.

They can be made of porcelain or other materials–depending on your preferences, and they provide a realistic, tooth-colored look that will give you a brilliant smile. If your teeth have been damaged or simply has a few imperfections, a porcelain veneer will make it look completely restored.

Dental Veneer Procedure At Moss

Consultation – We will perform a thorough exam, possibly including x-rays and taking an impression of your teeth. We will decide whether veneers are a good fit for the results you want, and if you are a good candidate. You will agree on a treatment plan.

Preparation – First, we will remove a minimal amount of enamel from your teeth to make room for the veneers. We will take an impression of your teeth and send a model to a lab that will create the custom made veneers. In one to two weeks, the veneers will be finished and sent to your dentist.

Bonding – We will check each veneer to make sure they will fit properly and look great before bonding them to your teeth. We will trim and shape each veneer to achieve a perfect fit and appearance. Each tooth is prepared by cleaning, polishing, and etching. Etching roughens the surface of the tooth for a stronger bond. A bonding agent or cement is placed on the veneer, and the veneer is carefully placed on the tooth. Once it is in the correct position, we will use a special light to activate the bonding agent. Any excess cement is trimmed away and the veneer is shaped if needed.

Follow-up – We may ask you to come back a few weeks later for a checkup, to make sure your veneers teeth have stayed in place, and to see how your gums are responding to the presence of the veneers.

Move Forward, Don’t Look Back!
