Trust Your Smile to This Experienced, Long-Time Dentist

Dr. Lloyd F. Moss, Jr. grew up in Fredericksburg, VA. He went to Hampden-Sydney College for biology and received his DDS from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in 1978. Then, he completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Michigan in affiliation with the VA Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI. Since 2010, other dentists have chosen Dr. Moss as a Top Dentist in Virginia. He is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, an honor earned by only about 6 percent of general dentists in North America.

Outside of work, Dr. Moss enjoys fly fishing, taking photos, playing golf and tennis, reading, and spending time with his family. He’s been happily married to Karen since 1978. They have three children and a son-in-law: Dr. Lloyd F. Moss III, Jane Moss Tinder (Logan Tinder), and Robert Harrison Moss.

You feel like family when you’re there. If you’re interested in getting Invisalign just do it! I had the best experience, my only regret is not doing it sooner.

Front desk was so kind and as I got to the back office the dentist was very reassuring and gentle through the whole procedure of my fillings. I have a phobia of needles and he wiggled my cheek and talked me through the whole thing. Couldn’t ask for a better experience. The assistant was right on point also.
